Sephora France Haul & review with swatches

Sephora was already my favourite beauty store, but they are stepping their game up.

Since a few months they are selling lots of new brands that weren’t available in France (& Belgium of course). A few of them are Anastasia Beverly Hills, Kat Von D, Huda Beauty and Becca… ABH is available in Belgium, but the price is way lower at Sephora.

Ordered the 11th of March and received my package the 16th of March, so that is pretty fast. Shipping is €8,90 to Belgium but there was a coupon code for 25% off on almost all the brands, so technically I didn’t pay shipping because I had more than €25 discount. Normally I go to the store to try the products, unfortunately I had no plans to go to France the next months.

First of all, I took the product pictures and the swatches at another time. That’s the reason why the lightning is zo different.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Dip Brow Pomade in Soft Brown (€21,50)

I’ve used the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings for years and loved it. But my brows needed a little more color. The Brow Zings is amazing for naturally full brows, but mine had to be filled in a little bit. With the Dip Brow Pomade it was done so fast and easily. I use the color “Taupe” in the beginning of my brow and et the end I use “Soft Brown”. The pomades are also amazing as eyeliner because they are waterproof and last all day. To fix them to the fullest I go over my brows with the powder from my Brow Zings kit!

Marc Jacobs – Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer (€39,00)

This primer saved my life! I always had issues with my dry skin, but this primer does wonders for me. Especially on my nose where I have dry flaky skin. Since I’ve been using this primer it is all gone. Don’t forget that a good foundation also helps for this. My holy grail foundation for dry skin is Chanel Vitalumière Aqua. This is the 3rd bottle of primer I’m buying from Marc Jacobs. Their products are so good!

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Eye Shadow Singles in Sienna (€14,00)

This is my second eyeshadow single from ABH, I already own Burnt Orange and I use it E-VE-RY day. Oranges are my go-to colors, they look so natural but very chique on my “green” eyes (their color changes with the seasons, am I the only one?). This one is a lot darker, perfect for my crease on heavier makeup looks. The pigment is good, not too strong so you don’t have to be scared to ruin your eyeshadow when applying it. They also blend easily, which is a big asset.

Huda Beauty – Liquid Matte in Trendsetter (€21,95)

I wanted to try Huda Beauty liquids so bad, but I had no idea what shade to choose. Shopping online for makeup can be so hard sometimes (but we still love it). At this moment I love orange tones and nudes. When looking on Google, this color looked very light on some people and on other people it looked quite dark. The last months I found out that nudes fit me the best, so I was hoping this color wouldn’t be too dark. When opening the liquid, the smell was soo good! It’s smells like vanilla cake. As you can see on the swatch, this will be dark for my skin tone. As you can see, Huda Beauty doesn’t have that much light colors. This was one of the lightest colors when looking on the internet for swatches.
